Biodiversity 90 x 120 cm

Description

“Biodiversity” is painted on a high-quality canvas measuring 90 x 120 cm.

A beautiful, one-of-a-kind painting that invites the eye to wander and take in its individual details and patterns of colour.
My thoughts behind this painting:
A person wearing glasses represents how we see the world—in this case, nature. The person bears responsibility, just as the glasses rest on the nose. One lens shows a winding stream, important to birds such as swallows and kingfishers for nesting sites and food chains. The glasses also show two wind turbines, representing energy. In the eye is either a sun or a sunflower, also symbolising energy. Bees are essential to pollination in nature. The grain in the upper corner represents food for many. The bee on the cheek and the half-transparent swallow show the significant impact our actions have on nature. It is important for people to understand that, in the end, everything is connected in the vast universe, and that we can make a difference in the great puzzle of balance.

In this painting, I have hidden/painted two real feathers into the artwork.
The feathers are my way of sending a message out into the world and giving my paintings a distinctive mark of my own. Their message is to remind you that you are loved by your guardian angel, and to remember to spread good and loving energy wherever you go.

A hanging fixture is attached to the back, and the painting is ready to hang on the wall.
